Sibby Thomas completed his Masters in Social Work (MSW) in the year 1987-89 from one of the prestigious Institute of Social Work in Kerala viz. Loyola College of Social Sciences with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work.
He has worked as a family Counsellor and community outreach worker from 1990 and he has completed a course in De- Addiction Counselling from TRADA and later he has worked as a Project Officer in Alzheimer’s and Related Disease Society of India (ARDSI). In 2003 Sibby moved to UK and worked in various caring positions and in 2009 He has started his current job as a Social Worker in Adult Social Care.
Sibby Thomas is elected as the Chairperson of UKMSW Forum, a support group for the Social Workers working in UK, hailing from Kerala and he is involved in a lot of Charity Activities and Fund-raising programmes for the local community and other associations and organisations.
